Election 2005 kickoff!
It's time to take action!
After four years of broken promises, higher costs for ordinary families, and damaging cuts to key public services, we finally have a chance to send Gordon Campbell a strong message. It's time to make British Columbia a place where everyone matters.
Things are heating up and the campaign is hitting the road as Carole James reaches out to British Columbians in all corners of the province.
Carole will be kicking off the 2005 election campaign in Victoria with the Lower Island candidates on Monday April 18 at 6:00 p.m. If you live on the Island, come out and help launch the campaign with a bang! We'll be at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall at the Victoria Conservatory of Music located at 907 Pandora Avenue. Everyone is welcome!
On Tuesday April 19, Carole and the Lower Mainland candidates will be in Vancouver for the Lower Mainland kickoff at 6:30 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Centre located 3075 Slocan Street (at Grandview Hwy, by Renfrew Skytrain Station).
On Thursday, Thursday, April 21, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. Carole will be at the Moose Hall at 406 Fortune Drive in Kamloops, for the Kamloops and Kamloops-North Thompson kick-off. Then on the 23rd, Carole and our candidates will be in Prince George at the Coast Inn of the North Hotel at 770 Brunswick Street.
Local candidates need your help!
And local campaigns are heating up in every constituency. Signs are going up, leaflets are being distributed and offices are opening.
We are fighting for every seat in this election. We have the chance to send record numbers of New Democrats to Victoria, but we need your help to make that happen. Take action today! To get in touch with the NDP campaign in your area, click here.
On the ground and in the airwaves!

Friends, we have come a long way. New Democrats have held Gordon Campbell and his MLA's to account for four years of broken promises and I am proud of the way New Democrats have stood up to the Campbell government's one-sided agenda.
But with four weeks left to go, we will be working hard in every corner of the province to elect NDP MLA's who will represent their communities with a strong voice. It's time to take action.
Because everyone matters.
Gerry Scott, Campaign Manager 2005, BC NDP
P.S. Please send this to 5 friends who you think share your concern about the one-sided record of the Gordon Campbell Liberals!
